Hello! My name is TJ Rines and I'll be teaching Health & Physical Education at ECMS & ECHS this year. Welcome! I will also be the assistant coach for ECHS' baseball and basketball team.

I was born and raised in Effingham County where I attended ECHS and graduated in the class of 2012. I was blessed to play collegiate basketball and graduate from both South Georgia State College and Thomas University and immediately started to coach at the collegiate level. I have just finished up my 2nd year as the head coach at Thomas and will begin my first year as a teacher.

My passion has always been helping people, whether it was on the court, in the weight room or in life, so I know this transition will be graceful as I take on this new role!
