Staff Profile

I am Jennifer Allen, your child's English Language Arts teacher this year. With over 19 years of experience in education, I have dedicated myself to shaping the future through literacy and learning. 

My journey in education has been deeply intertwined with my life in Effingham County, where I have resided for the past 24 years. My commitment to this community extends to my own family as well. I have been happily married for 32 years to my husband, Matt, and together, we have been blessed with three incredible children: Aaron, 30. Andrew, 26, and Caroline, 23. 

Throughout my career at SEES, I've had the privilege of teaching both 1st grade, where I served as a paraprofessional for 12 years, and 5th grade for the last 7 years. My goal has always been to foster a love for language and literature in my students, equipping them with the skills they need to succeed academically and in life.

As your child's ELA teacher, I'm committed to creating a nurturing and inspiring environment in my classroom. I believe that every student has the potential to excel, and I'm dedicated to helping them unlock their full potential.
