I am a born and raised NJ Girl from Montclair State University! Originally, I was an editor for a Financial Corporation but realized I had a passion for teaching children when I became a Christian and started teaching Sunday School at church! I traded in my NY City high heels and went back to school for a Post Baccalaureate Degree in Education! I taught Pre-K and Kindergarten in NJ for 6 years but took a 6-year break from teaching to raise my 4 children. I speak fluent Spanish because I taught in a district where NONE OF MY STUDENTS SPOKE ENGLISH!! Thank God I paid attention in Spanish class!!
I substituted in every grade for a few years in NJ and decided that teaching 3rd grade was my passion! My Active Duty, Air Force husband received orders for our family to move from NJ to GA in July 2018 and we are IN LOVE with southern living! I taught at Blandford Elementary as a substitute and Maternity leave replacement for 1st grade in 2018-2019. I am honored and blessed to be a part of the Ebenezer Elementary School Team and excited to begin my 3rd year teaching 3rd grade! My family and I are extremely active and love to surf, skateboard, play basketball, and do missions work together. When I retire I plan to run an orphanage in Haiti with my beloved church team.
