The 2022-23 school year is my 29th year teaching and 28 of those have been at Sand Hill Elementary. My wonderful teaching experiences include Title I Reading for grades 1-5, second grade, Reading Recovery, and Literacy Coach. I obtained my Bachelor of Science Degree from Armstrong State University and my Masters of Education and Education Specialist degrees from Georgia Southern University.

 

At home, my husband and I enjoy watching and cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Mr. Jim, my husband, has been a mentor at our school and is a member of the 165th Air Wing MXS. We also enjoy playing with our dogs, Riley, Dexter, Fynn, Rocky, and Rooney. They are "disc" dogs and love to perform and show off for the students at Sand Hill.
