I have the most wonderful fun job in the world.  I believe school and learning should be fun and challenging.  I am blessed to have a job that I look forward to everyday.  I have been the teacher of the gifted for the past 13 years at Sand Hill Elem.  It has been a rewarding experience for me.  I love my students and enjoy seeing the "sparks" fly, as they are learning and thinking.  In our class we say, "Hard is good, and easy is bad."  It is ok for things to be difficult, that is how we exercise our mental muscle. 

     I graduated in 1993 from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Health Science.  Later, returning to school at Armstrong Atlantic University, I gained my teaching certification.  

   I enjoy family time, gardening, and of course, teaching.
