The first graders from Marlow Elementary spent a busy day at Honey Ridge Agricenter on November 1st. With the help of South Effingham High School Ag students as well as STEAAM students from South Effingham Middle School, the students learned about grain production, animal health, bee production/pollination, and natural resources. Everyone planted vegetables in the Farm to Table garden and found their way through the corn maze. All the students enjoyed the hayride and petting the goats, sheep and "Junior" the cow. The day ended with each child picking out their own pumpkin to take home.
