The first graders from South Effingham Elementary spent a busy day at Honey Ridge Agricenter on October 2nd. With the help of Ag and STEAAM students from South Effingham Middle School, the students learned about grain production, animal health, bee production/pollination, and natural resources. The students planted vegetables in the Farm to Table garden and found their way through the corn maze. Everyone enjoyed the hayride and petting the goats, sheep and "Junior" the cow. The day ended with each student picking out their pumpkin to take home.
