Pre-K Lottery Applications are Open

2021-2022 Pre-K Registration and Lottery Drawing

Pre-K Lottery Applications are now open!

To ensure that all Pre-K parents have a chance to enter the Pre-K Lottery, we ask that parents submit the online application before reserving an appointment. Additional dates have been opened up this year so that all parents have an opportunity to register for the lottery. Parents can make their appointment either by visiting our appointments website or by calling their zoned schools after January 25, 2021 and then submit their applications online. Appointments will be held at the Marlow Learning Center. Appointment slots are structured around the application being completed prior to the date of your appointment. Your application must be received by your scheduled appointment time.

Once your online application has been completed, the link to make your appointment will appear on the "Submitted" page. You will also receive an email with the link to our appointments website.

Appointments are available March 8 - April 1. The last day to submit your Pre-K applications is April 1, 2021.

Parents who do not use online registration to submit their applications or who do not have internet access/a computer at home should arrive to their appointments 30-45 minutes early and use our computer lab to complete the application process. Attendants will be on hand to assist with the online application process. You may visit our online registration help page to prepare for the application process.

Please note that due to COVID vaccine administration, the Effingham County Health Department will be providing services and exams needed for Pre-K registration (Immunizations, EEDN, etc.) on Wednesdays (8:00 am -11 am, 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm) and Fridays (8:00 am - 1:00 pm). Please be patient as healthcare staff work to manage the high volume of appointments.

The lottery drawing will be streamed online on Friday, April 16, 2021 from the Effingham County Board of Education Central Office.
