Kindergarten Registration Dates for 2021-22

Parents seeking to register their children for Kindergarten for the 2021-22 school year who are not currently attending a school-based Bright From the Start Pre-K class or school-based Preschool Intervention class may fill out an online registration application beginning February 9th, 2021. Kindergarten applications will be processed Tuesday - Thursday during the following windows: February 9th - March 4th and April 6th - 15th.
Appointments are being made on an as-needed basis but you will be contacted in regards to your registration. Please keep an eye on your email and phone so that our registrars can contact you.
For complete registration instructions, visit the Kindergarten webpage:

Please be patient as healthcare staff work to manage the high volume of appointments.

Important Notice for Effingham Parents with Currently Enrolled Students
It is extremely important that all parents of rising Kindergarten students that are current Effingham County residents - and are not currently attending a school-based Bright from the Start Pre-K program - register their children during the standard registration processing window. Failure to do so may result in the district being unable to make accurate staffing projections and lead to re-scheduling of Kindergarten students after the school year has begun. Please note that if the Kindergarten children of current Effingham residents do not register during one of the two registration windows, we may not conduct make-up days until the week of August 11th. If you do not register during the standard registration window, your child may miss the first several days of school.
