This is my second year in Reading Recovery at Blandford Elementary. Previously I taught third grade at Blandfored Elementary for twelve years. I am a graduate of Armstrong Atlantic State University, and I obtained my Master's in Early Childhood Education Reading and Mathematics in 2010 from Walden University. I completed my Reading Recovery training through Georgia State University. I live with my husband, daughter, and our three dogs Guinness, Pepper, and Daisy. In my free time I enjoy sewing, crocheting, and embroidering. I am blessed to have a career where I get to share my love of reading with children.
I look forward to working with our Reading Recovery students one on one this school year to help them increase their reading and writing skills. In addition to working with students one on one, I meet with small groups of students in various grade levels to work on reading and writing skills. I can be reached via phone at 912-826-4200, by email firstname.lastname@example.org, or Remind by sending a text to 81010 with the message @ek279b or you can go type rmd.at/ek279b into your web browser to sign up.
