    Tuesday, October 24th

    Theme:  “Follow Your Dreams, Don't Do Drugs!

    (Students and teachers may wear pajamas.) 

    Mismatched clothes, crazy socks, shoes, hats, hair styles, backwards clothes…Students and teachers may wear jeans.)

    *Please adhere to the dress code policy.  No strapless shirts, no flip flops, or slippers.* 

    Wednesday, October 25th

    Theme:  It is Picture Day at SES! Come dressed as pretty as can be and "SMILE", because  you are drug -free!!!


    Thursday, October 26th

    Theme:  “Drugs ARe A Fashion Disaster!

    (Students and teachers will wear mis-matched clothes, crazy socks, and w-i-l-d hair.)

    *Please adhere to the dress code policy.


    Friday, October 27th

    Theme:  “Be On a Drug-Free Team

    (Students and teachers will wear jeans with their favorite team shirt or jersey. NO CHEER UNIFORMS, PLEASE!)


    All week we will be collecting Canned Goods for the Effingham County United Way and Local Food Pantres.

  • Bus Mechanic Needed
    The Transportation Department is seeking a Bus Mechanic! This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, proficiency in AC and electronic systems repairs and computer diagnostics of diesel engines,  and a Georgia CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements and Hazardous Material Certificate within 120 days of hire. Work experience in medium/heavy truck repair preferred and/or auto/light truck repair is desirable.

  • SES School Supply Collection
    Springfield Elementary School students are collecting school supplies as a Mentoring Moments service project. Each elementary school in the county has been invited to participate. Our school district will team with the United Way to deliver the supplies to South Carolina schools affected by the recent floods. Please feel free to drop off supplies at any elementary school. Gently used books are also greatly appreciated! View our flyer for more details.

    In addition to quality instruction, SES provides thirty-one advanced technology classrooms. The students also benefit from two computer labs and several student computers in each classroom. A science lab is available for all hands-on learning experiences.
