Level up your summer reading with the Sora Sweet Reads Challenge!

We are excited to share a fantastic opportunity for Effingham County students to continue learning and reading all summer long. Starting 18 May through 24 August, 2026, the Sora Sweet Reads program offers unlimited, instant access to a massive digital library of grade-appropriate ebooks and audiobooks.

Sora is our premier digital reading platform that allows students to read from anywhere on virtually any device. Plus, titles can be downloaded so the reading doesn't have to stop even when you're offline!

To keep things fun, we are encouraging all students and teachers to take on the Sora Reading Challenge! See how many of these you can check off before school starts back up:

Read fantasy or suspense

Read a biography

Read a book in a series

Read for one hour

Return a book early

Read a comic or graphic novel

Finish 3 books this summer
