This month marked a milestone for our district as ECMS (Effingham County Middle School) and SEMS (South Effingham Middle School) students participated in the county’s first-ever FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Robotics Competition. FLL is an internationally recognized STEM program that challenges students to design, build, and program autonomous LEGO robots to complete a series of missions on a themed playing field. Our students demonstrated exceptional teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity throughout the event. This competition provided a dynamic, hands-on learning experience that integrated science, technology, engineering, and math in a fun and competitive environment. We are incredibly proud of our students for their hard work and for representing our schools in this exciting new venture.
