Join the Transportation Department for the 2025-26 School Year
With the increase in student ridership across the county, we are looking to train potential bus drivers to be hired as needed.
This is a great opportunity for parents or grandparents with children enrolled in school, as no daycare is required. When your children are out of school, you are off work! Depending on the situation, your children may even be able to ride the bus you are driving.This means no car rider lines and no gas expenses….
If a full-time position is not immediately available after you complete training, you can work as a substitute bus driver until a full-time position opens up.
Earn up to $110 per day, along with benefits including health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
We provide free CDL training on-site at the bus shop with certified trainers through the Georgia Department of Education and the Department of Driver Services. This is only for future school bus drivers.
