Get ready—your student will soon take the first exciting steps toward planning their high school journey, meeting with counselors and teachers to choose classes and explore future pathways.

• 🗓️ Thursday, Nov. 6: All 8th graders will attend the CTAE (Career, Technical, Agriculture Education) Expo at Honey Ridge to explore high school pathways.
• 🎓 Tuesday, Dec. 16: CTAE Pathway Open House at Effingham College and Career Academy (ECCA). Learn how students can access specialized ECCA pathways—no matter which high school they attend.
• 📘 January 2026: Students will meet with counselors to learn about pathways and register for classes.
• 🧭 January 2026: Look for The Roadmap—a complete guide to high school—coming home with your student.
• 🏫 March 2026: Rising Freshman Nights will be held at both high schools. Dates coming soon!
