Welcome to ParentSquare, our new all-in-one communication platform for Effingham County! We are transitioning from the Remind app to ParentSquare to unify all district, school, and classroom communication (via email, text, and app).

 

You don't need to create an account! One has already been automatically created for you using your preferred contact information from Infinite Campus (Parent Portal).

How to Activate Your Account

Your account is automatically created using your contact info from Infinite Campus. You just need to activate it.

  1. Go to parentsquare.com/signin.
  2. Enter the email or phone number you have on file with the school.
  3. You'll be sent a link to create your password and log in.

Need Help?

1. Check Your Contact Info

The most common issue is an incorrect email or phone. Please log in to Infinite Campus Parent Portal to verify your information is correct, or contact your school's front office.

2. Not Receiving Texts?

If you aren't receiving text messages, you may have opted out. To opt back in, send a new text message with the word START to 66458.

3. General Questions

For general questions on how to use features, you can visit the official ParentSquare Help Center.

4. Mobile App Glitches

Uninstall & Reinstall the Mobile App

• First, try to uninstall the mobile app, reboot your device, and then reinstall the app again.

 

Check for device updates 

• Please make sure your phone’s operating system is fully up to date. Outdated software can sometimes cause apps to glitch or close unexpectedly. 

 

Use “Forgot Password” 

• Even if you believe your password is correct, selecting Forgot Password on the ParentSquare login screen (app or website) can force the system to revalidate your account. 

 

Check notification and focus settings 

•  If the app appears to flash or open and close, please verify that ParentSquare notifications are not restricted by settings such as Do Not Disturb, Focus, or other device-level controls. 

 

Use the web version as a temporary workaround 

• If the app continues to be unstable, you can access ParentSquare using a web browser at: https://www.parentsquare.com/signin

5. Account Expired Notice

What This Means

It means their account session simply timed out - nothing is wrong with the account, and no information was lost. 

 

For security purposes, ParentSquare automatically logs user out after a set amount of time. You can see the full details in our Security article here: Manage Your Security Settings

 

The Fix  

Most of the time, you can just tap your name on the login screen and re-enter your password to get right back in.

 

If the app doesn't give you that option or keeps looping, the quickest fix is to:

• Delete the ParentSquare app

• Re-download the app from the App Store/Google Play

• Log in again with your usual email/phone number and password or initiate a password reset by going to www.parentsquare.com/signin and select Forgot Password.

ParentSquare Register your Account

How to Register Your Account

Go to parentsquare.com/signin to register your ParentSquare account.

  • Parents/Guardians:
    • Register your account by signing in with the email or phone number we have on file in Infinite Campus.
       
  • Faculty/Staff and 6th - 12th grade Students:
    • Click “Sign in with Google” and use your ECSD email account 
      • faculty/staff - yourname@effingham.k12.ga.us
      • students - s.yourname@effingham.k12.ga.us
         
  • Confirm Your Info: You’ll be prompted to verify your name, email, and phone number (pulled from Parent Portal/Infinite Campus).
Incorrect Information

What if Your Information is Incorrect?

  • If anything looks wrong (name, phone, email, etc), please contact your school’s Data Clerk to update your Parent Portal (Infinite Campus) record. 

    Note: It can take up to one business day (an overnight sync) for ParentSquare to reflect any updates/changes. Once that’s done, simply sign out and back in (or refresh) to see the corrected information.
