        Mrs. Griffin  and I welcome you and your child to our Kindergarten  Class. We are excited to start a new year. Mrs.  Griffin is the Paraprofessional for our Class. Mrs. Griffin says, " Hello! My name is Charlotte Griffin. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 33 years. His name is Alex. We have two wonderful children. I have been a Paraprofessional for 14 years. I am a native of Troy, Alabama. Roll Tide! I worked 8 years as a paraprofessional  with the Houston County Board of Education prior to relocating to Effingham County in 2012. I enjoy singing and Zumba. I am very excited to start a new year with your child."
     
        My name is Angela Autry. I live in Meldrim.   I have a son and a daughter. I also a granddaughter that is 8 years old and a 7 year old grandson. I enjoy spending time with my family. My favorite place is at the beach. I like to read and swim.  I also enjoy helping children learn. 

         This will be my 10th year  as  a teacher. Prior to working as an Early Elementary teacher, I was  a Paraprofessional  in Special Education, Kindergarten,  and Pre-K. I graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2005 in General Studies and in 2008 with a Masters in Elementary Education. I have worked 16 years in Education.  
     
       We are looking forward to a great year.  I look forward  to getting to know the students and the families of our class.  Special events will be posted on the website as well as on our newsletter.
