    COVID-19 (Coronavirus) at-home learning plan:

Today, 3/16/2020, some resources are being sent home with students.  Students in 2nd, 5th, and 6th periods should be able to complete all work given with minimal assistance.  Students in 1st period should be able to complete Skill 37 (#1-20) and Let's Roll with minimal assistance.  PDF versions of the papers given today will be posted on Google Classroom.  I will also making additional resources, including videos and/or Google Meet times on Google classroom tomorrow and throughout the week.   Your student will need to log in to his/her school google account to access these resources.  I will be available throughout the time we are out of school to answer questions via google classroom or email.  Please understand that this is a fluid plan and is evolving in the best interest of the students.

Welcome! I am so excited to meet you all.  This year marks my 13th year in the classroom, the last seven in the 7th grade.  For the last three years, I have implemented a mostly flexible-paced blended learning environment.  For more information of what a blended classroom is, check out the "Blended Learning - What is it?" page.  This is a huge change from a traditional classroom.  Please know this:  I am committed to the success of your student.   Now in my fourth year of this model, I believe in this process.  I wholeheartedly believe that a flexible-paced blended learning environment can benefit all students.  I believe my students can handle it as proven over the last three years.  Changes are likely to be made as we continue to determine what works and what doesn't.

I would LOVE to hear from you!  Please email me and tell me how I can make this webpage a better resource for you!  I look forward to your comments and suggestions.  Most of all, I appreciate your trust as we make this journey together.
