            I am excited to be entering my eleventh year at Ebenezer Elementary.  I have worked in various grade levels and have found my niche in working with our youngest readers.  I am part of a team implementing the Reading Recovery program.  Reading Recovery is designed to insure that our first graders have a solid reading foundation.  I'll be working one on one with students this year as we build their reading, as well as writing skills.  I'll also have the opportunity to work with small groups.  In our small groups, we'll also be reading and writing - as they always go hand in hand.  What a student can read - they can write; and what they write, they can read!!
    I'm looking forward to a great year and academic success for all of our students at Ebenezer Elementary.
