Greetings to my new parents and students,

       Congratulations on being selected to be in my math class. We are going to have a great year this year.

I am originally from Columbia, SC.  I am married with two beautiful children. I have been living in the state of Georgia for about 20 years now. This is my 17th year teaching. I really enjoy teaching and I am pretty sure your child will tell you they enjoy my personality and my class. I tend to tell my students my life story when we meet, so don't be alarmed if they come home and tell you. It helps them to understand that I am human just like them. For some strange reason, they think we are magical creatures that never leave the school. I will expect a ton of effort from them this year, so have them come in the door ready to learn the 6th grade material that will prepare them for 7th grade next year.
