I have a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!!) I also have an add-on to my certificate in Gifted Education and ESOL.

My name is Emily Chaffin, and this is my 30th year of teaching!
This is my sixth year teaching ESOL, and I love it! I have enjoyed getting to know my students from many different countries around the world. They have taught me much about who they are and where they are from.
I have two children, Katie and CJ. Katie works at Ally's Bakery in Rincon as a cookie decorator. CJ (Chad, Jr.) is a 9th grader at Effingham County High School.
I look forward to serving my students this year!
