Hello! I am Charlene Andrews, the instructional coach at Guyton Elementary School.  This is my 17th year in education.  I have taught first, third, and fourth grade, and my favorite subjects are reading and writing.  I attended Georgia Southern University, earning my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, a Master of Education in Reading, and a doctorate in Curriculum Studies.  I enjoy writing quarterly columns for the Georgia Council of Teachers of English. 

     I am from Effingham County and enjoy life with my husband, Stephen, and our two children.   Pierce is eleven years old, and Logan is nine years old.  We enjoy being outdoors, swimming, riding bikes, and challenging ourselves at Pine Street Crossfit.
