Hi there! I'm Kimberly Sands, and I am very excited about joining the Mustang family here at South Effingham Elementary!

I'm a Georgia Southern graduate with a degree in early childhood education, and I've been teaching in Bulloch County for the past 6 years in 1st grade. While I lived in Statesboro for some time, I actually grew up here in Effingam! I attended Marlow Elementary and South Effingham Middle and High, so when the opportunity arose to come back home to teach I was ecstatic! This will be my first year in 2nd grade and I am looking forward to this new and exciting opportunity to learn as much as I can to grow as an educator.

I can't wait for the year to start so I can meet my new students and families and kick off the best year yet!
