Hi there! ☺ My name is Maggie Kullenberg and I am very excited about joining the Mustang family here at South Effingham Elementary!
I am thrilled about working with SEES families for the 22-23 school year! I know we will have so much fun learning and growing together!
This is my 3rd year teaching Special Education but my 8th year being a teacher! I previously have been a first grade general education teacher, third grade general education teacher, along with working in Kindergarten, Third, and PreK inclusion classrooms. I love getting to know all of the students and teachers and know this will be the best year yet!! ☺
I graduated from Armstrong State University with my Master’s in Teaching and from University of North Carolina at Greensboro with my Bachelor’s in Communication Studies. I am gifted endorsed along with being able to work with P-12 in all subject areas for special education.
I have been happily married to my hubby for 7 years now and we have a 2-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son. We love being together and love going on adventures whenever possible! Some of our favorite places to explore include the local Georgia Railroad Museum, Savannah’s Children's Museum, and all of the local parks. When not busy exploring, I enjoy going to church, baking, gardening, reading books, and running.
