Ms. Kira Byrd

Hello! My name is Kira Byrd. I am excited about teaching 6th grade ELA at EMS this year!

I grew up in Effingham County and graduated from Effingham County High School in 2018. I am excited to remain a part of the school system that has greatly shaped me. I graduated from the University of Georgia and received my Bachelor of Arts in English.

I am passionate about all things reading and writing, and I hope I can share this passion with your child this year.
