Meet the Teacher!

  •      Hello! My name is Lisa Etterle and this is my first year teaching in Effingham County. I have 24 years of teaching experience and have taught 6th grade science for the last 15 years and love it! I received my Bachelor's degree in middle grades education from Georgia Southern University, my Master of Education degree in middle grades education from Troy University and my Education Specialist degree in curriculum and instruction from Augusta State University.

I was born and raised in Jenkins County. I have taught in the following counties in Georgia: Jefferson, Jenkins and Columbia. I plan on finishing up my teaching career here in Effingham County.

I have three grown children whom I love dearly and a dog named Rita. I moved to Effingham County to be closer to family. I am an animal lover and in my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Tutoring: Monday and Tuesday after school by appointment only (4:00 - 4:30).
