This is my first year at ECHS and my second teaching! I'm originally from Louisiana, just outside of Lafayette in the heart of Cajun Country. I also spent a bit of my childhood in Fayetteville, North Carolina when my dad served in the Army. I've been lucky enough to have a very large and spread out family, so I grew up all over the country.
I graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a BA in History and a minor in English. After graduating, my partner Raymond and I decided to move to Georgia for him to pursue his master's degree. He is currently at Georgia Southern in the Biology graduate program. I will be starting my Masters in Teaching this fall.
We live in Statesboro with our sweet little cat, Bebe. This has been our home for just over a year, and I can't wait to see what this school year brings!

Where do I find the class syllabus and calendars? These things can be found on Google Classroom under the Resources section.
What do I do if I am turning in an assignment late or I was absent the day something was due? First, check the class calendar to see exactly what you missed on those specific days. Second, you will need to fill out a Late Turn In Form, found under the Resources section of Google Classroom. Please email me if you need any help with this.
Do you offer tutoring? If you are in need of tutoring or remediation, I am available most days within reasonable before and after school hours. I would appreciate a 24 hours notice in advance. Remediation can also be offered through Rebel Time.
How do I contact you? If you are subscribed to your class's Remind, you should be able to chat with me there. You can also email me: email@example.com
