Welcome to 6th grade! My name is Mrs. Shannon Bell. I am excited to be here at ECMS! This is my second year of teaching, but my first year in Effingham County, as well as the state of Georgia. I am originally from Boston, Massachusetts, but moved to North Carolina in 2009 and called NC home until the summer of 2022, when we moved here! My family consists of my husband and I, as well as our two dogs, Brodie and Tucker.

I graduated from Wingate University in 2020 with my Bachelor of Science in Human Services. After graduating, I realized my true passion was to become an educator. I enrolled at Ball State University, where I graduated in 2021 with my Master's degree in Special Education. In my free time, I love to shop, be outdoors, exercise, travel, cook, and spend time with friends and family.

I am looking forward to a fabulous school year!
