Hello! My name is Sierra Weirich and I am excited to join GES as the 5th grade Special Education Teacher (Math Resource)! I am known for being kind-hearted, helpful, and creative! I graduated from Effingham County High School in 2007. In 2014, I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Armstrong Atlantic State University. In 2018, I earned a Master of Arts in Special Education from Georgia Southern University/Armstrong State University. Lastly, I graduated with an Education Specialist degree (Ed. S.) in Advanced Educational Studies with a concentration in Special Education in August 2021. I have been teaching for 5 years, and have taught the following grades: Kindergarten, 1st, and 5th grade. I also taught 2nd and 3rd grade during summer school last year.

 

I am happily married to my husband Jonathan and we have a brown and white Siberian Husky named Jax. I also enjoy traveling, going to rock concerts, and spending time with family and friends. I look forward to a great school year! If you have any questions, please email me!
