Welcome to my class! I'm looking forward to teaching and learning with you.

My name is Mr. Jordan, and I teach 8th grade English Language Arts at Effingham Middle School.  I am originally from this county and attended this school when I was the same age as my students (although back then this building didn't exist yet).  After graduating from Effingham County High School, I attended Georgia Southern University where I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in English and my Master of Arts degree in Teaching.  I began my teaching journey in Beaufort County, South Carolina over ten years ago and have finally made my way home.
