Meet Mrs. Waldrop
Hello, everyone! My name is Whitley Waldrop. This is my sixth year of teaching and my first year at ECMS! I am so excited to be a Panther, and I look forward to a fantastic year!
I have been married to my husband, Josh, for five years, and we have two boys, Shiloh and Sully. When I am not teaching, you can catch me running, training for my next marathon, eating yummy food, sipping good coffee, or spending quality time with family and friends.
I grew up in Northeast Alabama and attended Jacksonville State University on a track and field and cross country scholarship. GO GAMECOCKS! I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Secondary English Language Arts Education in 2015, and in 2016, I earned my Master's degree in Sport Management. After teaching in Alabama for two years, Josh and I moved to Southeast Georgia for his career. I have been teaching in Georgia since 2018, and we absoultely love it here! We are thankful to a part of the community.
If I have learned anything in life, it's that life is absolutely unpredictable! Work hard every day, don't get too caught up when things don't go your way, have a positive attitude, and press on.I am so blessed to be at ECMS!
