Degrees and Certifications:

Emma Collins

Hello friends and welcome to Kindergarten! I would love to tell you a little about me (I'm on the right!)! I grew up in Savannah and moved out to Effingham county when I was in eighth grade. I was lucky enough to attend SEHS, I was in the marching band, and I rode my horse onto the football field as a Mustang Mascot.  Go Mustangs!  I graduated with a bachelors degree in psychology from Georgia State University in Atlanta and soon moved to North Carolina.  For almost ten years, I worked as the director of activities in a nursing home and I met my husband.  We moved back to Effingham to be closer to family and well, because it's awesome.  I have two awesome boys, one is 9 and the other is 4. I'm so excited because both will be with me this year at SEES!  I was a paraprofessional in the Effingham county school system for three years and this will be my second year as a Kindergarten teacher! I'm thrilled to be here and I can't wait for all of the adventures and learning that are to come!

Jaime Whiddon is our fantastic paraprofessional! She has also been in the Effingham county school system working as a paraprofessional for the past five years. She has five children, with the oldest in his second year of college and the youngest in middle school. All five of her children attended SEES and she is a mini mustang through and through!

We are both so excited about our Kindergarten adventures!
