View this post on Instagram I do a lot of clapping when I record videos and voiceovers, and it’s not because I’m applauding myself. 😉 When I am interrupted, flounder, pause too long, mispronounce a word, or when my audio or video recording is flubbed up in some way, I immediately double-clap, redo the bad part, and continue. I don’t start and stop the recording—I keep it a single clip. In my editing software (#WeVideo, #iMovie, #GarageBand, #Audacity, #ScreenFlow etc.), I can see and hear where I need to cut the clip. This is where I do a jump cut. I split the clip, trim out the mistake, and splice together the parts I want to keep. #remoteteaching #classyvideos #googleedu #iste20 #iste2020 #teachersofinstagram #iteach A post shared by Tony Vincent (@learninginhand) on Mar 29, 2020 at 9:24am PDT

View this post on Instagram Teleprompt.me is a free online teleprompter. You simply paste the text of your script into the site, and your words are presented in a large font on your computer’s screen. Teleprompt.me uses your computer’s microphone to listen to you speak. It scrolls as it recognizes the words you’re saying, which allows you to keep a natural pace. This is different from most teleprompter options. Those typically scroll at a set rate. If you take a pause or don’t speak fast enough, you’re left behind. You won’t be left behind with teleprompt.me! A post shared by Tony Vincent (@learninginhand) on Apr 14, 2019 at 6:10am PDT

View this post on Instagram iMovie for iPhone and iPad has been updated to include a green screen effect! Now with iMovie, you can add video clips and photos as overlays, which appear on top of the main clip in the timeline. The Green/Blue Screen overlay adds the clip so that during playback the clip appears with the green or blue parts of the clip removed, and the remaining parts of the clip are superimposed on the main clip in the timeline.
