I am so glad you stopped by to find out about your child's teacher.  My name is Mrs. Virginia ("Jenny") Romines, Kindergarten Resource Teacher.  I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 1996 with a BS in Early Childhood. In addition, I have become certified in special education and have taught in several realms of general education and special education. I began my career in Tennessee at East Lincoln Elementary in Tullahoma. I taught 3rd grade there for 2 years before moving to Atlanta. In the Atlanta area, I taught for 10 years in the Cobb County School District as an EIP teacher, Resource teacher, and 3rd grade teacher. I also taught in the private sector in a Georgia Lottery Pre-K program. For 4 years, I  taught Preschool Intervention (PSI) in Brunswick, GA. I have been certified in 3 states and have taught in each one; Tennessee, Georgia, and South Carolina.

This is my fourth year in Effingham County Schools and my third year at Springfield Elementary. 

I live in Springfield with my husband, my dog Bubba, and my 22-year-old son.
