    Welcome to the Hill!

I attended Middle Georgia State University for my undergraduate degree and received dual certification in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. I continuted school and gained my graduate degree from Piedmont College in Early Childhood Education. I started teaching in 2015 in Houston County as a 3rd grade teacher, and the following year I taught 4th grade.

I got married in 2017 and moved to the Savannah area and that is where my journey as a Special Education teacher began. I taught at Bryan County as a 5th grade Special Education teacher, and a 4th/5th grade Resource teacher.  This is my third year at Sand Hill Elementary. I will be working with the 5th grade team teaching ELA, and I am so excited!

I have one daughter who is two and an son who is almost one! I enjoy reading, going to the beach, and spending time with my family.

Being a teacher has taught me so much, and every year I am amazed at how much I learn from my students! I know this year will be no different, I am excited for the 2021-2022 school year!
