Welcome to 8th Grade Language Arts with Ms. Taylor!

For this class, we will be working to master the Eighth Grade English Language Arts Georgia Standards of Excellence. We will do so by promoting a positive and fresh learning environment, with a rigorous yet effective pace. By the end of the class, students will have grown their skills socially and academically. This class will focus on the four main elements of reading, writing, speaking, and listening. These elements will transfer well into life inside and outside of this class. My hope is for each student to strengthen these four elements through the lessons of the course. Google Classroom and other digital programs will be utilized.
