    April 1:

    Message from Mrs. Hoffman

     

    March 26:

    Quick update - an email from Infinite Campus went out with the list of assignments that need to be turned in this week.  School policy has changed for "missing" assignments.  All assignments will be marked incomplete until they are turned in.  Please be patient when checking Infinite Campus for grade updates.  Google is suffering a major outage today, so grading assignments has significantly slowed.  My email has also been a little unreliable today, so if you need immediate assistance, please use Remind.  Thank you!

    March 22:

    You can find my updated Lesson Plans here.  I will not be posting all of my plans for the week at once this time.  I would like for students to work on the material in order, from Monday to Friday.  I realize that students may not have the ability to do work every day, so I have made the due date Sunday, March 29 at 11:59pm for all included assignments.  However, I will stress again that work this week should be completed IN ORDER.  As always, please reach out to me if you have any problems or questions about the material.

    March 19:

    Just like you, I am still learning about this whole distance learning process!  I've just learned of a cool way that I can create and share videos!  I've added a tab to my website to post videos from me to you.  I'm also working to incorporate videos into my lessons coming in the future. 

    I've had some technical difficulty with the Google Slides assignment for The Giver.  Each student copy was only showing the work for March 18.  To remedy the problem, I have posted a new assignment in Google Classroom - The Giver Slides for March 19-20.  The original March 18 slides are in the file also, but students do not need to redo that work.

    March 17:

    Below, you will find a Google Slides presentation with my lesson plans during this shutdown.  This will be updated weekly.  The first two slides are a letter from me and the procedures to follow during this time.

    March 16:

    Due to the COVID-19 virus and resulting school district shut down, students will be responsible for completing work using a "distance learning" model.  Each week, until this is resolved, I will post weekly lesson plans with assignments to be completed.  Students are able to access the assignments through our Google Classroom.  I have included a presentation below to detail how to access and use Google Classroom.
