Hello and Welcome to the 2022-2023 Kindergarten year.  We are very excited to get to know you and your students this year.

Here is a little bit about me... I graduated with my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Phoenix in 2013 and in 2021 I received my Masters degree in Early Childhood Education along with a Reading Endorsement. I began teaching at South Effingham Elementary School in 2016, teaching in 5th grade my first year, and then the last 5 years I have been in Kindergarten and I have loved every minute of it. I have a beautiful family; my husband of 25 years this November and my beautiful daughter who is graduating this December from Georgia Southern University, where she will major in secondary Education. We love to spend our time together making memories and I can't wait to make many memories with each of you!!! 

Here are a few things that you may need to know before coming to Kindergarten...1). Please pack an extra change of clothes in your students' book bag as there are times that accidents may occur. 2.) Tennis shoes MUST be worn during the days your child has PE. & 3). This will be an exciting year for your kindgergartner as we will be learning many wonderful things. We look forward to watching your students grow and learn over this next year.
