    Welcome

    ECCA is a 9-12 grade charter program school authorized by the Effingham County Board of Education. ECCA is located on the Savannah Technical College Effingham campus 2940 Highway 21 South, Rincon, GA 31326.

     

    To create a high tech career focus to better serve our students' needs for those entering directly into the workforce and those planning further postsecondary options.

     

    Students from both, Effingham County High and South Effingham High, may attend ECCA classes and earn professional certifications and industry credentials for careers in"

    Notable Dates:

    • 2010 - ECCA Opened
    • 2015 - ECCA earned SACS AdvancED global accreditation.
    • 2016 - STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) classes open to a cohort of 125 9th-grade students & 125 10th-grade students.   

     

    Governance:

    ECCA is governed by a Board of Directors of key business professionals from industries employing students with skills learned at ECCA, high school and postsecondary educators, and parents and students. Please visit the ECCA Board of Directors page listing the Board members. 

     

    Work Ethic:

    Work ethics are highly valued in society and with all employers.  Students learn work ethic skills within each class. Ten percent of class grades are work ethic measures. 

     

    Work-Based Learning/Internships:

    Many work-based learning and internship opportunities exist for ECCA students within our community and region. ECCA staff works closely with the work-based learning coordinators at each high school to place students interested in those opportunities.

     

    Dual Enrollment:

    Students may earn college and high school graduation credits in several classes such as Aircraft Assembly, Welding, Law Enforcement, Cosmetology, and numerous academic classes.
