High school students can take degree-level core courses through STC and earn college and high school credit simultaneously. All courses are taught at Effingham College & Career Academy (ECCA). These courses are scheduled during 1st and 2nd period for ECHS & SEHS students. Students may return to their home school for additional classes. Once these courses are approved by the high school, full tuition, fees and textbooks are at no charge to the student. Students must meet minimum testing requirements to enter the program.

Technical/Occupations Courses

High school students can take occupational classes within a STC Diploma program or Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) and get a jump start on an exciting career and gain hands-on experience. Once these courses are approved by the high school, full tuition, fees and textbooks are at no charge to the student. Students must meet minimum testing requirements to enter the program.
