My name is Elodie Lockhart. I was born in Clermont Ferrand, France.  My family moved to Greenville, South Carolina in 1977.  I graduated from Riverside High School in 1990 and attended the University of South Carolina where I have earned my degree in HRTA (Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Administration).  In 2000, I attended Georgia Southern and worked on my teaching certificate.  I have been teaching since 2002.

I am married to my college sweetheart, Ben Lockhart and moved to Savannah, GA in 1994.  I have two daughters.    As a family, we enjoy soccer and traveling.

I became a citizen of the United States in 2011.
