I was born and raised in Savannah Georgia. I attended high school at St. Vincent’s Academy and graduated from there in 2002. I graduated with my Bachelors in Middle Grades Education with concentrations in Math and Science from Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2008. I have taught Math and Science at Effingham County Middle School for 11 years and the math department head for 9 years. I finished my masters in Teacher Leadership through Thomas University and graduated in June 2019. I am also gifted and talented, endorsed and have worked on the STEM badging through Georgia Southern. I have taught 6th and 7th grades math and science in the past at ECMS and have been teaching 8th grade Math for 3 years.
