Here are the current calendars of assignments and due dates for the first semester:
We are beginning Puritan literature in September. This era will carry us through the remainder of the marking period. We will be studying the play, The Crucible, and there will be an essay at the end of the unit.
Week of August 12th: Here is the study guide for the Native American Lit. test, and the instructions sheet and grading checklist for the comic/collage project.
Week of August 7th: Please review the purple class syllabus and purple assignment calendar for each month to stay informed.

REMINDER TO STUDENTS:
I DO NOT ALLOW ELECTRONICS, FOOD, BEVERAGES, OR GUM IN MY CLASSROOM! (water is the only exception to this rule) YOU MUST ALSO HAVE YOUR SHIRT TUCKED IN WHEN YOU ENTER MY CLASSROOM, AND IT MUST REMAIN TUCKED IN FOR THE DURATION OF THE CLASS PERIOD! VIOLATIONS WILL RESULTS IN PARENT NOTIFICATION, AFTER-SCHOOL DETENTION, AND OFFICE REFERRALS. THANK YOU FOR RESPECTING THESE RULES!
