• Work Based Learning

This is for students 16 years or older.  This program allows students to receive high school credit while developing skills in the workplace.  Students do not have to have employment prior to entering this program; however, the student should have a job in his/her program concentration area to participate.  Work Based Learning opportunities include internships, co-ops, clinicals, and youth apprenticeships. Students in this program must have a driver’s license and student parking permit.

Students interested in work-based learning should see Mrs. Smith (office located at the end of the 600 hall) for an application, additional information, and regulations.  The best thing to do if you have questions is to refer the student to Mrs. Smith.   Students must be at least 16 years of age, possess a driver’s license, and have personal transportation to participate in this program.
