Welcome to first grade!  My name is Amanda Burgess and I have been teaching at Springfield Elementary School since 2004.  I have been a first grade teacher, second grade teacher, parent liaison, instructional coach, and a Title-I teacher over the last 18 years.  I graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2004 and I have my Specialist Degree in Teacher Leadership.  I am married to Bryan Burgess and we have four wonderful children and a huge puppy!  I enjoy visiting theme parks with my kids, superhero movies, and making things in my free time.
