    BES School Mission Statement: Blandford Elementary School's Mission is to inspire its students to strive for their highest potential, to create a passion for learning, and to provide tools for making life choices that nurture the LEADER in every student.
     
    Blandford Elementary offers programs beyond the established Georgia Performance Standards. Students participate in the GAE Spelling Bee, Gifted Education, Junior Beta Club, Ukulele Club, and Chorus. Grade level performances at PTO meetings include musicals, plays, and recorder concerts. An extracurricular choral program is offered for 4th and 5th graders. The chorus presents a winter and spring concert.
     
    Blandford Elementary takes pride in its parent involvement program. Parents are frequently found volunteering in the classroom,  in the media center, and in Book Fairs. Blandford’s PTO is very active and assists with coordinating the volunteer program and supporting school initiatives.
     
    Blandford teachers understand the value of exposing students to the arts. Art projects are frequently displayed throughout the school. 
     
    While emphasizing academics at Blandford, the total development of the child is important. Our students are taught the importance of being good citizens. They participate in community service projects such as the United Way canned food drive. Additionally, each grade level hosts a monthly service project as a part of our Leader In Me School Initiative.
     
    Blandford Elementary feels like home to students and staff - a home that welcomes all to embark on an adventure of learning.
