    "Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve"

    The mission of Agricultural Education is to prepare students for successful careers and a lifetime of informed choices in the global agriculture, food, fiber and natural resources systems. South Effingham High School has an active, involved Agriculture Education Program and FFA chapter where students can grow and develop as leaders, serve the community, and learn about agriculture. The FFA is a National organization that strives to make a difference in the lives of young people by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.

    FFA is the largest youth organization in the country and provides countless opportunities for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success.
     
    FFA officers met this summer and scheduled a very impressive and varied schedule of activities for the upcoming school year. They have several social events, competitions, community service events, and leadership opportunities which will really make this year a great year to be an FFA member.
