My name is Kira Tucker and I am the new Captain of this wonderful group.

Education: 

• I have a Bachelors Degree from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Music Education with an emphasis in choral conducting 
• In 2015 I earned my Masters Degree from Georgia Southern University in Music Education with a sub specialty of choral conducting and technology integration in the classroom.  

Career and Experience:    

• 2019-2020 school year will be my eleventh year of teaching and my first with South Effingham County High School, but most students know my face already from working with All-State or the little work I did with last years spring musical (AMAZING JOB on that production). 
• I am the Georgia Music Educators Association District 1 Choral Chair and that is a job I take very serriosly.  
• I am the All-State Chorus Region 5 organizer and I am excited about auditions this year and will need students and parents who are motivated to work and also who can help me exicute the Round 1 and 2 auditions this year.
