Federal & Special Programs
The Effingham County School District believes that family involvement is essential to student success, and there are many ways that families can get involved in their child's education.
Specials and federal programs in education are important because they help to ensure that all students have access to a high-quality education, regardless of their background or circumstances. These programs provide students with the support they need to succeed in school and prepare for college and careers.
The Special Programs' office includes the following Programs:
- Title I, Part A - Improving the Academic Achievement of the Disadvantaged
- Title II, Part A - Supporting Effective Instruction Grant
- Title III, Part A - Language Instruction for English Learners and Immigrant Students
- Hospital / Homebound (HHB) Services
