Student Discipline
The Office of Student Discipline provides support to all ECSD schools and transportation as they work to "establish a climate of trust where each student is respected, valued and supported emotionally and socially by using proven routines, processes and management techniques" (T1 ECSD Instructional Framework).

Parent Login Information & Campus Parent Desktop Link
- Go to https://campus.effingham.k12.ga.us/campus/portal/parents/effingham.jsp
- You may also access Campus Parent by visiting www.effinghamschools.com and search for the Parent Portal Login screen under the Find It Fast section
- Enter your username and password.
- All newly registered families received a “Welcome to Effingham County Schools!” email with login credentials.
- If you have forgotten your password, you may select the Forgot Password option or contact your school’s Data Clerk.
- You may be prompted to reset your password and provide an account security email after initial login.
Parent & Student Portal Mobile App Instructions

Download the mobile app from either the Apple App Store or the Android Market.

Launch the App and find the Effingham County School District. When prompted to enter the district name, type out Effingham, and select Georgia for the state.

Enter account login to access Campus Parent or Campus Student. If you need additional assistance using Campus Parent or Campus Student, visit www.infinitecampus.com/parents-students.
- Campus Parent login was created by the link enclosed in the Parent Portal Setup Email.
- Campus Student will be the student number that can be found on your profile in Parent Portal. The password is the first initial last initial followed by birthdate (e.x. Jane Doe - jd01021645).
Electronic Sign-off for Be Smart, Handbook & Health Forms
- Locate the Documents tab from the Index options
- Open each form requiring an eSignature
- Review, sign and submit all forms
- If you have multiple students, please complete forms for each student.
- PK students are not required to complete the Be Smart Form.

Cell Phone Guidelines
RULE 20: ARTICLES UNRELATED TO SCHOOL INSTRUCTION
No student shall bring electronics, large sums of money, or any items not related to instruction. The use of cell phones or personal digital devices during instructional time is authorized only under the direction of the classroom teacher to support student instruction. Digital devices that have listening feature should be disabled during the school day (from arrival to departure from the school property). The school assumes no responsibility or liability for lost or damaged cell phones or personal digital devices if brought to school.
Elementary School
All digital devices must be stowed away in student’s book bag or purse. Unauthorized use of a cell phone, smartwatch, or other digital device during the school day or on a school bus may result in the following:
- First offense – staff member confiscates device and submits behavior referral; staff member gives device to administration; administration contacts parents and returns device to student at the end of the school day.
- Second offense – staff member confiscates device and submits behavior referral; student receives loss of privilege; staff member gives device to administration; administration contacts parents and returns device to student at the end of the school day.
- Third offense – staff member confiscates device and submits behavior referral; staff member gives device to administration; administration contacts parents; student will serve one day of OSS; parent picks up the device at the end of the school day.
- Fourth offense – staff member confiscates device and submits behavior referral; staff member gives device to administration; administration contacts parents; student will serve three days of OSS and be placed on a probation contract; parent picks up the device at the end of the school day.
- Fifth offense – staff member confiscates device and submits behavior referral; staff member gives device to administration; administration contacts parents; student will serve five days of OSS and is referred to the Superintendent's Designee for Discipline. Parent picks up the device at the end of the school day.
Middle School/High School
Unauthorized use of a cell phone, smartwatch, or other digital device during school day or on a school bus may result in the following:
- First offense – staff member confiscates device and submits behavior referral; staff member gives device to administration; administration contacts parents; returns device to student at the end of the school day.
- Second offense – staff member confiscates the device and submits a behavior referral; staff member gives device to administration; administration contacts parents; student will serve one day of OSS and parent picks up the device from the school at the end of the school day.
- Third offense – staff member confiscates the device and submits a behavior referral; staff member gives the device to administration; administration contacts parents; student will serve three days of OSS and parent picks up the device at the end of the school day
- Fourth offense – staff member confiscates the device and submits a behavioral referral; staff member gives the device to administration; administration contacts parents; student will serve five days of OSS and be placed on probation. Parent picks up the device at the end of the school day.
- Fifth offense - staff member confiscates the device and submits a behavioral referral; staff member gives the device to administration; administration contacts parents; student will serve ten days of OSS and is referred to the Superintendent’s Designee for Discipline. Parent picks up the device at the end of the school day.
